Success Summit
The Success Summit targets students from all classes and majors who are on probation. This event, scheduled for the afternoon of January 10, will help students to identify academic goals for the semester, anticipate possible impediments, and develop strategies to help them succeed. The Summit will include interactive workshops and panels on topics such as
• Time management and study skills,
• Active learning strategies,
• Reading and note-taking,
• Setting semester goals, and
• Succeeding in STEM courses.

Registration is ongoing on the Center for Academic Success’ web site: http://success.gatech.edu/success-summit.

Reboot Available for Struggling Students
Starting this spring 2013, CAS will offer the Reboot academic recovery program in two six-week sessions. This new design will allow students to participate in the weekly sessions early in the term or to begin after midterm progress reports are released. Students with a GPA of 2.2 or lower should consider participating.

See http://www.success.gatech.edu/academic-recovery for more information and a link to register.
