Preparing to Work in a Global Economy: Course Offered During Spring Semester

Course Description:  The purpose of this course is to help students prepare to work in the global economy.  What competencies are needed to manage and lead multicultural teams in diverse settings?  What skills are needed to work on solving global problems? How can you develop those skills?  How do work environments vary across different national cultures? How do you make the case to prospective employers that you have the skills they seek?  Students will make a presentation comparing the culture and work environment of another country to the U.S., and will prepare a resume or CV and cover letter for an internship or job of interest to them.
