Experimental Economics Workshop at The University of Alabama

The Department of Economics, Finance, and Legal Studies at the University of Alabama welcomes applications for our undergraduate workshop in experimental economics. Experimental economics uses controlled laboratory techniques to understand economic behavior. The workshop is designed to introduce undergraduate students (entering their final year) to the methods and literature of experimental and behavioral economics. The University of Alabama workshop will provide food and housing for workshop participants. In order to offset travel costs, workshop participants will earn cash while participating in economic experiments. University of Alabama along with faculty from Samford University and the University of Mississippi will teach modules covering a variety of topics. Each module will consist of an experiment and a discussion of the behavioral results.
