Junior Economist/Consultant – Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini – Brussels, Belgium

Main Responsibilities:

 

  •  Support to win, manage and deliver economics-related, policy and strategy contracts for European Commission, governments and private sector clients.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with key clients.
  •  Provide valuable inputs and contributions on economic, competitiveness and human capital policy.
  • Support to manage project teams and subcontractors, taking responsibility for meeting clients’ needs within quality, time and budget constraints.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

University degree in economics
Additional relevant Master’s degree or PHD qualification would be preferred.
Minimum2 years of relevant professional experience in a consultancy environment.
Experience in support winning and successfully delivering economics-related, employment and social policy and strategy contracts for European Commission, governments and private sector clients.
Expertise in cost-benefit analysis, macroeconomics, ERDF and ESF analysis.
Knowledge quantitative and qualitative methodologies
Knowledge of at least two of the following sectors: employment, social policies, social innovation.
Business development and marketing experience.
Project management experience, preferably international projects.

 

Strong English language skills (preferably at native level). Fluency in other European languages (written and oral) would be a benefit.
