Spring Intern, Cornerstone Government Affairs – Atlanta, GA

Cornerstone Government Affairs Group in Atlanta is looking for a student to join as a legislative intern this session. The intern will help track bills, attend committee meetings, help coordinate client meetings at the Capitol and edit client reports etc. Cornerstone works with about 25 clients and covers a broad spectrum of issues: bio science, education, agriculture, telecom, healthcare, energy and economic development to name a few.  They also plan Capitol Day for the American Cancer Society, the Georgia Economic Developers Association and the Albany Chamber which they would be very involved.  The intern would work every day during session but around their school schedule. Pay is $10 an hour. They also would provide parking at the Capitol and a lap top. The office is located in Midtown so days they would need to be there they would be very close to campus.  The team would like to interview candidates in December.
