Official projections show that Taiwan will experience a shortage of 9,000 experts and professionals between 2009 and 2010. As a result, Taiwan’s cutting-edge high-tech industries are now actively seeking experienced foreign talents to help spur their transition to the next level of technological development.

TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) has been entrusted by the Department of Investment Services, Ministry of Economic Affairs, to promote its HiRecruit Services, which is an effective two-way job-matching system to connect foreign professional talents with Taiwan’s dynamic enterprises.

Over 25 private, academic, and research entities in the delegation will conduct interviews with local professionals and experts who are seeking for jobs in Taiwan. Foreign professionals in the engineering, biotechnology, computer sciences, marketing, management, and other careers are all welcome to participate in this event and meet with prospective employers.

All professionals are welcome to the seminars and sign up for the One-on-One Matchmaking Interviews with the delegates.

Interested talents can register for a free HiRecruit membership at the HiRecruit website, http://hirecruit.nat.gov.tw. For additional information, please contact us at (305) 266-9191 or miami@taitra.org.tw.
