Call for Applications – European Student Conference 2018

Applications for the European Student Conference 2018 (ESC 2018) are now open!

ESC 2018 is a conference organized by European Horizons that will be held once again at Yale University on March 30th and 31st 2018.

The conference will bring together 100 undergraduate and graduate students from universities across the United States, Europe and Asia with distinguished academics and seasoned policy-makers in order to address some of the challenges confronting the European Union.

This year, we expect to host representatives from business, politics and diplomacy, as well as several academics from US universities. In the past, ESC hosted dignitaries such as Pascal Lamy, Kristalina Georgieva, Ambassador Gérard Araud and Ambassador David O’Sullivan.

Undergraduate and graduate students may apply until 11:59 PM EST on February 11th 2018 at http://www.europeanhorizons.org/esc-apply/.

–  Engage with the challenges that confront the EU in six workshops related to Energy, Technology, EU-China, Democracy, National Sovereignty and Security

–  Develop policy recommendations along with motivated undergraduate and graduate students with a passion for the EU

– Debate with seasoned policy-makers and distinguished academics from the USA and Europe

–  Become part of an international network that links thinkers and leaders

–  European Horizons will manage students’ accommodation needs

–  European Horizons will be able to partially support students’ transportation

–  The application is due at 11:59 PM EST on February 11th 2018
