National Conference on Undergraduate Research

Kennesaw State University is thrilled to host the 33rd Annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) April 11-13, 2019.

NCUR is one of the largest national conferences dedicated to undergraduate research in the country with over 4,000 attendees from colleges and universities across the U.S. It is an opportunity for undergraduates to present their scholarship as posters, oral presentations, performances, and visual arts displays. NCUR is multidisciplinary with representation from virtually every major.

NCUR 2019 represents the first time the conference will be held in the state of Georgia. Because this conference is relatively close to your campus, we invite you to submit abstracts here before the Dec. 4 deadline. It’s a great experience to present at a national conference with fewer travel expenses than a typical conference, given your proximity to Kennesaw State.  If you are planning to attend, you can apply for PURA Travel Award to cover travel expenses at http://urop.gatech.edu/content/pura-travel-application.

In addition to student presentations, the conference also includes practical workshops for students, such as applying to graduate school and resume writing, a graduate school fair with hundreds of graduate programs in attendance, and workshops for faculty, staff, and administrators. Finally, GACE (Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers) is sponsoring its 14th Annual Statewide College Career Fair at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, GA. The event is held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, and is free for all NCUR participants.  For more information, visit https://www.gace.org/careerfair
