Fulbirght English Teaching Assistant Program – August 29th Deadline

FULBRIGHT ENGLISH TEACHING ASSISTANT PROGRAM AND OTHER PRESTIGIOUS FELLOWSHIPS

The English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Programs place individuals in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers. ETA’s help teach English language while serving as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. The age and academic level of the students varies by country, ranging from kindergarten to university level. Applicants for English Teaching Assistant Programs can apply to only one country, must be U.S. citizens at the time of application and have earned a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent before the start of the grant. Other eligibility requirements are here.

Many other fellowships are available for students at different stages in their studies (undergraduate, graduate and post doctoral level).  The Georgia Tech Fellowships Office can help you find out which fellowships may be a good fit.

Applications for ETA are accepted May 1 – October 1, 2014.

Georgia Tech campus deadline: August 29, 2014

The GT Fellowships Office often has campus deadlines that are earlier than the official deadlines of the fellowships. The earlier deadline is to enable the GT Office to help you adequately prepare your application before submitting it officially.     http://fellowships.gatech.edu/find
