On Thursday, March 2, Judge Takashi Usukura will be speaking on the Japanese legal system at the Bank of America Plaza. The lecture will take place from 6 – 8pm, and light refreshments will be provided. Attendance is free, but RVSP is required.
For his talk, Judge Usukura will provide an overview of the Japanese court system, and compare and contrast it with the U.S. legal systems. He will explain the differences between the District Court, Family Court and Summary Court jurisdictions in Japan.
