The yearbook currently has 6 members, yet there are 8+ positions and needed staff members. We write articles about events that occur on campus relating to student life, greeks, academics, and significant people. I was hoping that you could send an email to the students of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts to see if there were any students interested in writing more.
A position on the yearbook staff helps students gain interviewing and formal writing skills. Its a way to stay connected with campus events and looks good on resumes. The meetings are every Thursday at 6pm in the Student Services Building (aka Flag Building) Rm 137. There will be pizza and refreshments at the meetings for extra encouragement.
