Shadow Day – Liberal Arts Volunteers Still needed!

The Student Advisory Board is still in need of lvan Allen College students interested in volunteering for Shadow Day and serving as Ambassadors for our College and the Liberal Arts! Interested? Insert your name, major, year in college, phone number, email, if you are Georgia Te…ch tour trained, and your schedule during the day of April 1st. Put FREE if you are open to volunteer, also please put down the name of any class you have that day.

Although we are having a meeting shortly today, you can drop in and join us or contact Steven Waugh, shadow day co-chair, afterward for training/volunteer materials. (There will be an information and training session Tuesday March 29th at 5pm in the Student Center room 301. This session will be helpful if you have never volunteered for the college and want to be as prepared as possible to answer questions or be keen on best tour routes during Tech’s latest construction projects.( FREE PIZZA WILL BE PROVIDED!)

Also, if you would like to participate on either the Student Life or Study Abroad Panel, please email Steven Waugh directly. The Study Abroad Panel will be comprised of a few students with Study Abroad Experience who will aid a Georgia Tech Advisor in a discussion on Study Abroad opportunities at Tech. The Student Life Panel will hold three students who are very involved with both the IAC and Georgia Tech. The students will explain the unique aspect of balancing fun on campus with campus organizations, as well as diving into the unique opportunity of living in one of the largest cities of the United States.
