The Y20 is a leadership summit that convenes young professionals from G20 countries to develop policy solutions to current global challenges. This year’s Y20 Summit will take place in July 2022, in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the official organizing entity is Indonesian Youth Diplomacy (IYD). Note, the U.S. Y7 and Y20 delegation does not represent the U.S. federal government in any capacity. YPFP will select four American delegates to represent American youth voices at the Y20 summit. The Wilson Center is seeking last-minute applicants to fill 2 part-time research assistantships for Spring 2022. Interns typically work 12-15 hours per week.  In support of the scholars, scholar interns spend much of their time searching for information using online academic databases or other publications. Other duties also include proofreading, editing, critiquing, checking references, compiling bibliographies, writing literature reviews, summarizing research materials, locating inter-library loan materials, and helping with software or presentations. Summer 2022 Scotland Summer Study Abroad Program

Study abroad this summer in Edinburgh, Scotland at the University of Edinburgh. The six-week GT program runs from June 6 (check-in) to July 23 (check out), 2022. The program is limited to 40-50 students. Students would be expected to take 6-7 hours of courses on a Monday through Thursday schedule, leaving plenty of time for travel and exploration. Based in Seoul, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is an intergovernmental organization founded to support and promote a model of economic growth known as “green growth”, which targets key aspects of economic performance such as poverty reduction, job creation, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The Federal Jackets Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to work full-time with a member of Congress, the Congressional Committee, or an executive branch office in Washington, DC.  The fall semester program lasts 16 weeks.
