Advising Until Further Notice [dated 3.16.2020]

Advising Until Further Notice [dated 3.16.2020]

There will be no advising hours during the week of March 16 – 20 (Spring Break). During this week you may contact Stephanie Jackson via email.

Due to public health concerns, Georgia Tech is unable to offer in-person advising at this time. We are offering students the choice to conduct advising via videoconference but must convey that this method does make ensuring FERPA privacy difficult. Advisors will conduct video advising in a private location, and recommend that students do the same to limit the amount of information that could be overheard by others in the vicinity. By agreeing to videoconference-advising, students are confirming they understand this situation.

Yes, I am available during my regular advising hours which are:

Mondays: 2pm-4pm EDT
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10am-12noon & 2pm-4pm EDT
Fridays: 10am-12noon EDT

Please make the appointment via GradesFirst and indicate in the notes your preferred communication method: Phone, Skype, or BlueJeans.

Drop-In Wednesday Advising
I am holding my drop-in/walk-in hours on Wednesday mornings from 10am-12noon EDT. These advising meetings will take place using BlueJeans.

Please note that Bluejeans Drop-In Advising Meetings are public spaces; anybody with the appropriate links can join those meetings, so they are not ideal for private conversations. Quick, general questions are best for Bluejeans Drop-In Advising.
