Want to hone your communication skills, refine your leadership abilities, help other students find jobs, and get paid? Become a Career Peer Advisor with the Center for Career Discovery and Development, where you’ll find out even more about employers and careers. To qualify, you’ll need to have worked at least one term as intern or co-op. Your basic job duties will be to represent us at professional student meetings and/or class workshops. You’ll help us acquaint students with how work works, and explain how to go about getting that first job, many times by sharing your own personal tips for success getting into the workplace. If you have good communication skills and want to help others acquire and succeed with a career, this position is for you. We’ll train you, pay you, and you’ll have fun while working.
