The 39 hour rule

What is the 39-hour rule? The Georgia Tech Catalog states that students must complete 39 hours of upper-division (3000/4000-level courses) in the undergraduate degree.  This rule affects INTA majors the most, in that fifteen hours of the non-major cluster, free electives, language, HTS, or technical elective requirements must be upper-division (3000/4000-level coursework).
