We’re Hiring: Nunn School Student Assistants

There are two Student Assistant positions available with The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. We are looking to fill a web/graphic design assistant position and general admin support positions.

Web & Graphic Design Student Assistant

Duties/Tasks:

  • Write and edit content for a range of materials, including website, social media, video, and online promotions
  • Create fliers, handouts, and other promotional materials
  • Maintain and update websites and social media sites
  • Design graphics and manipulate digital photographs
  • Related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant web design coding languages. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing, editing, analytical, and computer skills
  • Experience with content creation and website editing
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in producing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines

Pay Rate: starting at $10/hour

Schedule: Flexible, up to 20 hours a week. Hybrid.

Commitment would be for the fall 2021 semester, ideally continuing on in future semesters.

 

Administrative Office Student Assistant

Duties/Tasks:

  • Assisting administrative personnel and professors in duties related to students’ programs
  • File management, web research, data entry, and report generation
  • Logistical support for guest speakers, events, etc.
  • Related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills in to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Pay Rate: starting at $10/hour

Schedule: Flexible, up to 20 hours a week. Hybrid.

Commitment would be for the fall 2021 semester, ideally continuing on in future semesters.
