2020 Internship, Public Interest Research Group (Remote; Atlanta, GA)

Interested in learning how to mobilize your community? Want to spend your summer working on issues that you care about? Then you should apply to intern with Georgia PIRG Students!

We train students to analyze problems, advocate for smart solutions, and build public support. You’ll also work one-on-one with a full-time Field Organizer, providing you a unique and mentored experience.


  • Gain firsthand experience into the political and campaigning process

  • Sharpen your communication skills by working with the media

  • Learn to develop and run an effective campaign to influence decision-makers

  • Gain experience recruiting and working with volunteers

  • Learn to build a coalition and work with coalition partners

  • Work remotely while making an impact
