2020 Summer Public Service Internship, Office of Immigrant Affairs (Atlanta, GA)

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’ Office of Immigrant Affairs – Welcoming Atlanta is accepting applications for the 2020 Summer Public Service Internship (PSI).

The Public Service Internship is a PAID summer program that allows individuals to participate and learn about City agencies. In addition to learning about City government, the program offers seminars and exposes students to professional environments with influential businesses and organizations in the City of Atlanta. The program will expose students to the following agencies: the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta Police Department, Public Safety Annex, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Invest Atlanta, International Affairs, and other public-private partnerships.

Interns will have the opportunity to directly work with the Welcoming Atlanta staff on ongoing projects, or the flexibility to create and coordinate an effective and engaging project. Some administrative duties, such as answering phones or attending events on the weekend, are required.

The Public Service Internship is open to students from all educational programs, including undergraduate, masters, and law school programs.

All interested applicants should visit http://www.welcomingatlanta.com/jointheteam for more information about the Public Service Internship.

The deadline for the application is March 29, 2020.
