Bio

Come hear from Alex about how being skilled in data and visual analytics sets analysts apart and makes them so attractive to corporate clients and government agencies.

CTEC Work

  • analytic tradecraft
  • data analytics and machine learning
  • linguistics

The skills that students at MIIS and the wider community develop and enhance are in demand from government agencies, international organizations, technology companies, and financial institutions. Which translates into better-paying jobs and packages immediately after graduation.

The CTEC multidisciplinary approach to combatting violent extremism makes it one of the few academic centers in the world that has specialized staff on accelerationism. The work they do turns it into actionable information for tech companies and governments and this is what they teach students to do at MIIS.  This work is important to CTEC, and other stakeholders concerned with preserving democracy.

Alex will offer insight into accelerationism and its importance, and highlight different internship, certificate, and master’s degree opportunities that MIIS offers for students to become more involved in this important work.

RSVP here to attend.

Refreshments will be served.
