The M.S. in Economics is applied in nature, emphasizing applied economic theory, economic modeling, economic analytics, and quantitative methods. The program provides rigorous training as well as options to specialize in various areas in Economics and other Schools and Colleges within Georgia Tech. Further, the program can be completed in as little as one calendar year (Fall, Spring, and Summer) or can be completed in several years as a part-time student within your own flexible time format.
Graduating Georgia Tech students can be considered for the Master’s in Economics program without having to take the GRE or GMAT test. Combined with the Graduate Studies office courtesy of pulling your transcripts, all you will need to do is submit your application, two to three letters of recommendation, and any other supporting documentation if it applies to you.
But, as long as your application package is complete by Thursday February 15, you will not need to take the GRE or GMAT for admission consideration to the Master’s in Economics program.
In addition, if your application is complete by February 15, you will also be considered for scholarship awards.
