If you are graduating this semester and would like to take some time between graduating and your next step by teaching abroad, explore opportunities to volunteer to teach English in Chile through the English Opens Doors program.

 Volunteers receive an allowance, homestay with a family plus three meals a day, health insurance, Spanish language lessons, etc.  See the information flyer for more information.

English Opens Doors Program of the Ministry of Education in Chile is backed by the United Nations The program brings native and near-native English speakers to work in Chilean public schools as English teaching assistants. Volunteers focus on improving the speaking and listening skills of students and work to motivate students to practice their English language skills. Our program is Fee-Free, and includes a monthly stipend, room and board with a Chilean host family, in-country health insurance, in-country transportation, a comprehensive TEFL-based training week, pre-departure and in-country volunteer support, and much more.
