Colegio Bilingue New Horizons in Dominican Republic Now Hiring!

colegio-bilingueColegio Bilingue New Horizons (New Horizons), a privately owned bilingual school located in Dominican Republic, is currently seeking native English speakers to teach (Math, Science, Literature, etc. and from early childhood through high school). New Horizons was founded in 1977 and offers all levels of education from one year-olds through high school. The institution has the approval and follows the Spanish language curriculum of the Dominican Ministry of Education. The courses studied at the school are valid in all foreign countries in accordance with international treaties to which the Dominican Republic is a party. The English language program is equivalent to a college preparatory Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) oriented high school program in the United States of America.

New Horizons is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The mission of New Horizons is to educate students with an integral, bilingual, and multicultural education through the use of highly advanced teaching strategies and technological resources while promoting and fostering the development of flexible, independent, and confident individuals who have solid moral values, a critical conscience, and are capable of facing challenges and transforming the world around them.

New Horizons is hiring for both of its campuses (Santo Domingo and Santiago) and provides housing for teachers in both locations.

Certification is not required to teach at New Horizons.
