ABOUT THE POSITION
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a global network of policy research centers in Russia, China, India, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, is seeking an energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to intern with its Washington, D.C.-based Communications team. The intern may work up to approximately 30 hours per week for the duration of the internship. A small transportation stipend will be provided.
The intern will help support the entire Communications department, including design, digital, publications, events, and web communications with a focus on designing publications, one-pagers, social media, and web graphics. The position will also work on publications displays and provide day-of event assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should be organized, with strong attention to detail; possess excellent computer skills and an interest in learning the facets of digital communications, and be able to work independently and complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
