Position description

The Education Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of te K-12 education program that embraces CCWA’s mission to increase global awareness and global competence in Central Ohio. This includes revenue generation and proposal writing, management of program budget and work plan, development, scheduling and facilitation of educational programs and in general, ensuring program success. The Education Program Manager must be able to effectively work with administrators and teahers in local school districts to increase student participation in CCWA programs. This position will spearhead the effort to design an online e-Learning module on global competnce, as well as manage day-to-day administration and communications via social media, website, and the learning management system (LMS).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and documentation of a strong interest in world affairs, cultural exchange and global competence.
  • Experience working with educators and students and managing educational programs, including developing and managing budgets and work plans.
  • Proficiency in technology, especially Microsoft Office software, basic database operation, and an overall eageness to larn new uses for technology.
  • Experience/interest in grant proposals and fund-raising events to support programs.
