Fall Internships, #NatSecGirlSquad (Remote)

ABOUT THE POSITION

#NatSecGirlSquad is hiring interns and fellows to support #NatSecGirlSquad Goes Anti-Viral programming and interns and fellows for the planning and execution of #NSGSCon 2020: Anti-Viral Edition.

All positions are paid (stipend), and completely remote. Intern positions are most appropriate for undergraduate students who matriculated directly from high school and recent graduates while Fellows will generally be early career professionals who are working towards a master’s or similar degree and have a few years of work experience. Fellows may also have light management responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Anti-Viral Interns should expect to spend a maximum of 1-1.5 hours online a day, throughout the day. Anti-Viral Fellows should expect a slightly increased work load. Both Interns should have Crowdcast/Zoom access by phone, tablet, or computer for short (1-2 minute) windows throughout the day when previously notified.

-#NSGSCon Interns should expect to spend about 1.5-2 hours online a day. #NSGSCon Fellows will need to be more available, and schedules will fluctuate.

-All team members must be organized self-starters.

-Weekly tracking of hours

-Fluency in English required, though it need not be as a “first” language

-These are a completely remote positions. Previous remote experience is strongly preferred.

-Interns would have limited access to select official #NatSecGirlSquad accounts, so discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness are the utmost priorities.

Application packets will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and will close no later than 1 September. Early applications are strongly suggested. Following an initial screen, we will require a short written assignment, followed by a final interview.
