Since 1993, Women for Women International has helped more than 500,000 marginalized women in countries affected by war and conflict. We serve women in 7 countries offering support, tools, and access to life-changing skills to move from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
We bring women together in a safe space to learn life, business, and vocational skills. Once enrolled, each receives a monthly stipend – a vital support that enables her to participate.
Women increase their ability to earn an income with new skills that are in-demand and specific to each country context. They learn about financial decision-making and how to earn an income, health and nutrition, human and legal rights, and the importance of working together in social networks. The result: stronger and empowered women, healthy families, and more stable communities. This ripple effect is profound.
All internships will require 15-25 hours per week commitment with an anticipated start date of September 4th, 2018 and possible End Date: December 14th, 2018; a $195 monthly stipend will be provided.
