Internship Program
We are looking for talented students who aspire to gain professional experience in the field of international development. In our program, you will be exposed to the decision-making behind our work to improve lives in the region.
Our paid Internship Program offers opportunities across the IDB Group: at the IDB, IDB Invest, and IDB Lab. Positions are available in our headquarters in Washington, DC, in 26 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, and in our offices in Asia, Europe and at the Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean (INTAL) in Argentina
Basic requirements
Be a citizen of any of our 48 member countries. For internships in our country offices, you should be a citizen of the country you are applying. Positions at IDB Invest do not have citizenship restrictions.
- Be enrolled in an accredited university.
- Be between 21 and 27 years old for undergraduate students, and up to 33 for graduate students
- Not have relatives at the IDB, IDB Lab, and IDB Invest
- 1st JOB At the IDB Group
