What Your Job Will Be Like

We are seeking an Intern Summer – Business Undergrad. Position #670996.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
  • Partner with Security Professionals in identifying and mitigating security risks within various program areas across Sandia’s mission
  • Compile and analyze data, create presentations, communicate security messages and plans, and participate in meetings to identify and assess security risks

Qualifications We Require

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

  • Currently attending and enrolled full time (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited undergraduate program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • U.S. citizenship

Qualifications We Desire

  • Strong information management skills, including the ability to independently research, retrieve, and analyze information and data from multiple sources
  • Interest in working in a multi-disciplinary team environment to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrate experience conducting work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and strong technical writing skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge of business principles and processes
  • Understanding of and demonstrated ability to use a variety of business tools
  • Extensive knowledge of a suite of business software, including Microsoft Office
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Criminology, Sociology, National/Global Security, Public Administration, or Business Administration
