The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) is a broad-based influential network of 500 businesses and NGOs; national security and foreign policy experts; and business, faith-based, academic and community leaders in all 50 states who support a civilian-led approach of elevating diplomacy and development alongside defense in order to build a better, safer world.
We’re always looking for an ambitious team of interns to help us advocate for America’s diplomacy and development programs. If you’re looking to make your mark on foreign policy or a related field, consider spending a semester with us in one of these departments: Communications, Development (Fundraising), Government Relations, Outreach, or Policy.
Current college students, graduate students, and recent graduates are welcome to apply. You must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week. We are pleased to offer a weekly stipend, or work with your institution to meet college credit requirements. Additionally, our interns have the opportunity to participate in intimate luncheon-style conversations with our senior leadership, gain valuable professional insight from staff through our intern mentorship program, help plan a city-wide intern networking reception, write a blog for USGLC’s website, and build public speaking skills by presenting to our entire staff on a related topic at the conclusion of the internship.
