On July 10, the Pathways Programs went into effect, meaning that agencies can now use these authorities, including the Internship Program, Recent Graduates Program and Presidential Management Fellows Programs, to recruit and hire talented students and job seekers. Taken together, these programs will provide individuals who are in school or who have recently received a degree with greater access to federal jobs and internships, as well as meaningful training, mentoring and career development opportunities.
While some agencies will begin to advertise these initiatives now, the majority of jobs and internships will be announced starting with the fall recruiting season.
