Programs Internships, Atlanta Council on International Relations – Spring 2020

The Atlanta Council on International Relations is seeking interns for the Spring 2020 term. Descriptions of the positions available are below. These are part-time, unpaid, internships open to undergraduate and graduate students in Atlanta, GA. Start date varies depending on term. Academic credit is available. For spring, once you have an offer letter, see Stephanie Jackson by January 8, 2020.

INTERN, PROGRAMS – Three (3) SPRING positions available
Work with Program Division (PD) leadership to develop and maintain contact lists relevant to each upcoming guest speaker. In addition to the above, contact said lists by phone, letter, and/or email to notify them of upcoming events that may interest them. On behalf of PD leadership, manage all aspects of event management in Wild Apricot (WA) to include event creation, scheduling announcement releases, registrant tracking, and Past Event page development. Attend events as photographer, including the uploading of photos after the luncheon on Flickr and the Past Event page. Assist PD leadership and Chief of Protocol in working the logistical details surrounding out-of-town guest speakers. Working with Marketing, develop WA home page slides and event announcements. Develop and print event programs.  The current requirements will require computer skills as well as creative thinking on several projects now being formulated for future programming and market-supporting exercises.
