Just Results is looking to hire Summer Research Analysts who are passionate about international development and possess interest and experience related to our three areas of focus. This is an unpaid internship, however there will be a small monthly stipend to help defray living expenses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Report to Director of Data and Quantitative Research
§ Conduct in-depth country research on government procedures related to investment climate
§ Contribute to other projects related to workforce development and agricultural value chains
§ Provide support for administrative and business development tasks as needed
§ Participate in external meetings around DC
§ Attend events and take detailed notes for the CEO as requested
§ Translate documents as required (see language requirements below)
Qualifications:
§ Professional proficiency in French, Spanish, or Amharic highly preferred. Other languages will be considered.
§ Recent or current graduate student studying economics, international development, international relations, or a related field.
§ Knowledge of the international development landscape and actors
§ Excellent writing and research skills
§ Proficient using Microsoft Excel (comfortable with using formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, etc.) Knowledge of R or other programs is a plus.
§ Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations
§ Knowledge of essential data and research resources such as World Bank, UNDP, IMF, etc. preferred
