Foreign Affairs is hosting a series of free virtual events to allow graduate school candidates to explore the programs that are out there. Attendees will have the chance to connect one on one with representatives via text chat, video, or phone call in order to learn more about the top programs available for those seeking a career in international affairs, public policy, diplomacy, and more.
The next event is April 21, 2021, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm EST.
This event will feature two live seminars from Syracuse and Regent University.

Preparing for the Fair
- Foreign Affairs suggests that you long in prior to the event, look at which schools will be presenting, and research the ones you are most interested in. This will allow you to prioritize your time and prepare for an introduction.
- They suggest having a resume, or possibly multiple resumes, prepared to submit to recruiters. They also suggest that you have your LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media profiles up to date as recruiters will often search for them after fairs such as this.
- They also suggest that you explore schools you are unfamiliar with in your idle time during the conference.
- Finally, they suggest that you follow up after the fair with your recruiter. A thank you email will make a more lasting impression than simply speaking with a recruiter at an event.
