Call for Student Papers: Journal of Public and International Affairs | Submit by January 1

Submissions for the 2021 edition of the Journal of Public and International Affairs are now open!
The Journal of Public and International Affairs, now entering its 32nd year, is an academic journal where graduate students from APSIA schools publish policy papers and articles on U.S. domestic policy, international relations, development studies, and economic policy.
This year, JPIA is giving special consideration to submissions that analyze issues through a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) framework. Authors may choose to center social inequalities, race and representation, sexual orientation and gender identity, or another DEI-related lens in their analysis of contemporary issues. Examples may include, but are not limited to, the racial wealth gap, gender inequality in education, human rights violations against ethnic minorities, or lack of access to financial services in underdeveloped areas.
JPIA seeks pieces that are not only outstanding in their research quality, but also include specific policy recommendations. Submissions from students from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in policy scholarship are particularly encouraged to apply.
The deadline to submit is January 1, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST
Contributions must be submitted through this form
