The Global Climate Action Symposium is seeking contestants for their Climate Action Art & Photography Contest. Artists should capture what they believe climate change looks like and the influence it has had on art. How has it changed what mediums you use? College students may submit a photo, scan in artwork (painting, drawing, collage, etc.), send mp3 files of music, share video files, take a picture of a three-dimensional piece, or create a 3D digital rendering.
Submissions are free and are limited to one submission per contestant. High-Resolution files must be submitted with a caption of 150 words or less. Captions should be in English, but artists are free to provide foreign language captions as well. Prizes will be awarded to the top three undergraduate and graduate entries (six total prizes). All submissions will be featured on the Global Climate Action Symposium webpage.
The deadline to submit is August 15, 2021.
