“Juvenile Court Social Work
The DeKalb County Juvenile Court has internship opportunities availability for summer 2016. The position will work with the juvenile court social workers and supervising attorneys. Clients of public defenders often face challenges apart from their criminal cases,and the juvenile social workers work with clients on these pieces.

Undergraduates can apply for non-courtroom positions to work with supervising attorneys and learn skills related to research, trial prep, interviewing clients at the DeKalb County jail, etc.
These internships are available in fall, spring, and summer.
