The minority staff of the Committee on Oversight and Reform is seeking interns and law clerks for the fall 2021 semester. Fall internships and clerkships typically begin ins August or September and run through mid-December with exact dates being determined on a case-by-case basis.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
Interns will have the opportunity to work with the administrative, policy, and press teams by conducting research, assisting during hearings and markups, and other administrative tasks. The internship is unpaid, but the committee is happy to work with the applicant to ensure that they receive class credit. There is the opportunity for full- or part-time scheduling, those with availability at least 3 days a week will get priority.
- Strong writers, organized and detail-oriented
- Able to be discrete when working on confidential matters
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the committee’s work
- Previous Hill experience is preferred
