The office of Congressman Rob Woodall is looking for interns for the Spring Semester.
“Our full-time paid internship program is located in our Washington, D.C. office and offers a $1,000 stipend (before taxes) per month to each intern. We aim to have our intern class begin around January 8th and last through about May 4th, however accommodations can be made for interns who may need to begin or end a week or so within those dates.
We are looking for highly qualified candidates that are motivated, detail-oriented, personable, and have a zeal for constituent service. The ideal candidates will have excellent research and writing abilities, be able to multi-task and interact well with constituents visiting the office and on the phone. Interns will have the opportunity to experience working on Capitol Hill, learn about the legislative process, and attend briefings of interest. Responsibilities include answering the phone, giving tours of the Capitol, assisting with constituent correspondence, and supporting the legislative and communications staff on various projects.”
