SpaceX is currently seeking talented individuals for the Internship/Co-Op Program at the Washington DC branch.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: Based in Washington, D.C., the SpaceX government affairs team is responsible for all regulatory, congressional, executive branch, and state advocacy efforts. An intern on this team would be expected to prepare policy research documents, create presentation materials, attend and report back on local space policy events, and assist SpaceX staff in day-to-day functions.
Experience on Capitol Hill or with a government agency is highly desired. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of the federal legislative process.
Majors represented are mainly: Political Science, Science & Technology Policy, Law, English
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must currently be enrolled at a four-year university or college or completed a degree no more than 6 months ago
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
GPA of 3.5 or higher
Hands on experience on a project team or through a prior internship
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be available to work full time at our Washington DC facility beginning Jan/March 2018.
