Strategic Intelligence Intern, Invesco – Atlanta, GA

We are the 6th largest US retail asset manager and the 13th largest investment manager globally. The purpose of Invesco’s Strategic Intelligence team is to produce timely and relevant intelligence on global matters and cybersecurity threats to inform key stakeholders and enable decision makers. Comprised of analysts from a variety of intelligence and cybersecurity backgrounds, including former members of the U.S. intelligence community and UK law enforcement, the team proactively assesses various threat streams to identify geopolitical, cyber, and physical security issues that may impact Invesco.

The Strategic Intelligence Internship year long program is a hands-on program giving students the unique opportunity to work collaboratively with Invesco’s Strategic Intelligence team in an intensive, immersive, and multifaceted environment. This internship is designed to provide practical experience in a dynamic corporate intelligence function and is ideal for students considering careers in private sector or government intelligence. Interns will be able to actively contribute to the team’s mission of protecting Invesco’s people, systems, brand, and facilities while building off their coursework and subject matter expertise.

The role will be able to explore these topics among others: Strategic Intelligence, Theory and Practice, Open-Source Intelligence, Innovative Analytic Methodologies, Operational Security, Event Monitoring and Physical Security Collaboration. In addition to working on the Strategic Intelligence Team, interns will have opportunities to collaborate with other teams, including Physical Security, Corporate Travel, Investments, and the Emergency Management Teams.

The internship will run for 12 months and is paid competitively. Interns can expect to work 37.5 hours per week.
