Foreign Brief, a geopolitical assessment startup, is seeking applicants for five remote internships this summer. Foreign Brief works to provide an accurate analysis of current global development in the political, economic, and security areas. Idea internship candidates will have a solid grasp of the open-source landscape, availability to conduct long-term deadlines, experience or time spent in the region of interest, and knowledge of geopolitics and international affairs. It is preferred that interns have proficiency in a relevant language other than English. The research specialist will further benefit from the opportunity to take on management positions within Foreign Brief and from both a highly flexible schedule and an accommodative, fully remote working environment.

Geopolitical Research Specialist | Sub-Saharan Africa
Foreign Brief is seeking a part-time geopolitical research specialist to conduct research on Sub-Saharan Africa, participate in meetings and training with other analysts and editors, and provide feedback to technical teams working on publication platforms. The role, which is voluntary, requires strong critical thinking abilities and communication skills and a well-developed understanding of geopolitics within Sub-Saharan Africa.
