SUMMER 2022 Office of Intelligence and Analysis Internship Program

The Office of Intelligence and Analysis Internship Program allows current degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in pursuing a career in Homeland Security for summer 2022. I&A offers internships in the functional areas of Intelligence Analysis, Intelligence Operations, Mission Readiness, Information Technology, and Data Science. Students will explore their functional areas to gain the experience and skills needed to act as a capable and well-rounded Homeland Security intelligence professional. Summer interns are expected to work 40 hours per week for a duration of 10 weeks (late May through mid-August), and all interns work out of the Washington, DC office. I&A interns are paid federal employees with positions ranging from GS-3 to GS-9 pay grades, based on education.

The deadline to apply is August 31, 2021.

Only finalists will be notified via email or phone by October 2021 in order to schedule interviews.

Qualifications

  • Current degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited university
  • U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Achieve and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • 16 years of age or older
  • Complete Selective Service Registration if you are a male applicant born after Dec. 31, 1959.
