The Savannah River Remediation (SRR) is seeking applicants to their summer internship program. The Public Affairs and Communications intern will have the opportunity to learn about “real world” public affairs work through hands-on experiences that include writing, meeting with stakeholders, developing concepts for public affairs materials, and following through to completion, plus learning all aspects of SRR Public Affairs scope. Due to the workload in the Public Affairs Department, particularly in the writing area, this intern will be a valuable asset to SRR. The internship is expected to be 10-12 weeks running from May 2022 through July 2022. Housing is not provided, but rentals can be made through the University of South Carolina-Aiken student housing office. The opportunity is full-time and paid.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until March 2022.
