Job description
Foreign Policy is seeking a summer intern to focus on defense and security issues. Experience in, or knowledge of, the military and/or the Defense Department is highly desirable, but not required. The intern will work on a variety of tasks, including research, fact-checking, and reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone with journalism experience to learn about security issues, or for someone with experience in the military and security affairs to learn about journalism.
Interns are paid and may receive academic credit.
The deadline for applications is April 13. We may read applications on a rolling basis.
Requirements
Two writing samples
Ability to be located in Washington D.C. during the internship
Prior experience in and/or knowledge of the military and/or Defense Department highly desirable
Open to undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students
