The Turkish American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast U.S. (TACC) Looking for Fall 2010 Interns!


The TACC is a non-profit NGO that facilitates commerce between U.S. and Turkish businesses. We orchestrate trade missions, entrepreneur workshops, study abroad programs for American business students, speaker series with influential regional leaders and other programs that enhance our members’ companies and the Atlanta-area business community.

Internships are single-semester (with possible one-semester extensions) and begin in September. We will be flexible in forming interns’ schedules, but request at least 15 hours/wk.

The TACC seeks motivated undergraduate or graduate students with:

  • Business, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or similar major

    • Alternatively, students proficient in Web Design or Graphic Arts can apply for a technology internship that will include work on the TACC website and marketing materials. Please indicate this distinction in your email.
  • Superior organizational skills
  • High academic achievement

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Desire to learn about other cultures

  • 15 hours/week to devote to the internship

  • Interest in learning about Turkey and Eurasia

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Initiative to take on challenging, longer-term projects

  • Internships are unpaid but may earn academic credit
