Staff Assistant, Office of Representative Andy Kim (Washington, DC)

Representative Andy Kim (NJ-03) seeks a Staff Assistantto join his Washington, DC team. Due to the ongoing public health emergency, this position is fully remote with the option of some hybrid/in-person work available on a voluntary rotating basis.

Responsibilities include managing the front office including answering phones, routing voicemails, welcoming visitors, directing tour and flag requests, sorting mail, assisting with constituent correspondence, managing the DC internship program, and helping legislative staff with special projects, as needed.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, have superb verbal and written communication skills, a sense of humor, an interest in learning, dedication to public service, and a commitment to being a team player. Candidates with New Jersey ties are strongly encouraged to apply.
