School of Economics Alumni Speaker Series

The School of Economics here at Georgia Tech is hosting a series of alumni guest speakers who will be offering advice for students pursuing a career in the economic sector. There will be a different alumni speaker each month. The first of these will feature Adjit Dodani, and is entitled: “Empathy – the cornerstone of building a successful career in analytics, strategy, and operations.”

This event will take place virtually on February 17, 2021, from 5-6 pm. Pre-registration is required prior to attending the event.

Dodani received his M.S. in Economics in 2011 and is currently working as director of operations for Closing Services at HomeLight, a series C prop-tech start-up based in San Francisco. He began his professional career at Capital One working in analytics, which culminated in his scaling and managing the Captial One corporate strategy product team. His domain expertise spans data analytics, business analytics, product management, data strategy, corporate strategy, market intelligence, negotiations, business operations, general management, real estate, banking, credit, and startups.

Dodani will be discussing the course of his career, interwoven with lessons of empathy that he learned along the way.
