UNG Implications of Covid-19 Pandemic on National Security Symposium

The University of North Georgia is hosting this year’s Institute for Leadership and Strategic Studies (ILSS) Symposium entitled The Implications of the COVID-19 Pandemic on National Security. This symposium will take place in a hybrid format on 7-8 April 2021. In partnership with the Army War College Strategic Studies Institute and the Army Strategist Association, experts from across the world will discuss cybersecurity, supply chain, health, civil-military relations, intelligence, and the effect of COVID-19 on each.

UNG is also seeking panelists to present at the symposium. Panel presentations, which will be a maximum of 20 minutes each, are also part of the symposium. They will be selected from abstracts, which should be submitted by March 1. Those interested in serving as panelists should email 500-word abstracts and 150-word short biographies to keith.antonia@ung.edu. International and U.S. faculty and students, both graduate and undergraduate, may submit.

Pre-registration is required as there are only 50 spots open for in-person attendance. For more information and to register to attend either in-person or via zoom, click here.
