GT Office of International Education: Education Abroad Barriers Survey

Education abroad programs are a great opportunity for students to engage globally and grow both professionally and personally through international experiences. We’re encouraging students to participate in a diversity survey about education abroad. Your participation will play a crucial role in ensuring that these programs are inclusive and accessible to all students, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any other aspect of their identity. By taking the survey, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences and perspectives and provide valuable feedback to those who design and run these programs.

We understand that filling out surveys can be time-consuming, but we assure that your contribution will make a real difference. This survey is completely confidential, and your responses will be used only to inform and improve education abroad programs. At the end of the survey, you will have the option to express interest in participating in a focus group. This will be a chance to share your feedback directly with us in a face-to-face setting. So, whether or not you’ve participated in an education abroad program or if you’re considering doing so in the future, we encourage you to take a few minutes to fill out the survey. Your voice matters, and your participation will help to create better and more inclusive international opportunities for GT students.
